Having installed numerous slide toppers it only takes me about 15-20 minutes to get everything out and organized and then mounted up on the trailer. Before I place the final two screws into the extrusion rail to lock the bead in place and prevent the fabric from sliding in the rail I usually run the slide out in and out a few times to get all the wrinkles out, which can about 10-15 minutes. For your 2019 Forest River Cherokee 294BH the best cover for a wet climate is the Adco Tyvek All-Climate Cover part # AD39ZR as this is the correct size and the best for protection against rain. It's not completely waterproof as that would mean that it could hold moisture in which would allow mold and mildew to build up but it does bead water off of it which repels nearly all of it and is also breathable to allow any moisture to dry up. view full answer...
The trailer frame mounted brackets for the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System # C17422 should be positioned on the trailer so that the chain hangs directly down to the spring bar. The picture you mentioned is simply the studio photo we took after assembling the system so it's not adjusted exactly how it should be when actually putting it on a trailer for use. The brackets itself will not prevent proper orientation of the chain.
